It's summer - why are so many MLK members having to go to summer classes/do homework?

^Most regular schools in the US (elementary-high school) have already re-started classes, it's not summer classes anymore, it's the 2014-2015 school year. My little cousin went back last Friday. My university starts the fall semester's classes in 20 days, and it opens later than most schools here.

It's summer - why are so many MLK members having to go to summer classes/do homework?

Because I should've taken this class in 10th grade, but I never had time. Personally, I think the class is stupid, but as long as I get my semester's credit then I should be all set to graduate after this year and won't have to worry about it anymore.

So. Yeah. I've been busy this summer.

EDIT: Just saw Julie's comment. Actually, school here doesn't start until the first Wednesday of September. So luckily I have a while, but yeah, it varies a lot nationwide. We don't get out until mid-June so it's kind of a trade-off.
