Adofo: I don't care. I'm his father.....and he needs me. My boy isn't going through this without help!
He turned on his heel and went back towards their territory.

[Iri]

Chiku bristled furiously. If he didn't care, he didn't care about Hondo.
When Hondo saw Adofo approaching, his eyes narrowed. "Get out of my territory. You are not to trespass."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Son......I have something very important.....and very close to my heart that I want to give you.
He held out his hand and slowly opened it. In his hand he was holding his necklace.

[Iri]

Hondo bristled. "I said get out of my territory. I had a discussion with you less than half an hour ago, and you agreed."
Gamba sighed. "Father, please, you're not respecting our laws. Or us."

[Adofo]

Adofo: I'm sorry. My heart just told me to come to give you this. And to say this. Boys.....since I met your mother I've loved her everyday...and when I became your dad.....it filled my heart with joy to call you my cubs! I watched you grow up into the big lions that stand before me now! Hondo.....I know being a leader is hard for you right now.....and getting a pride together while raising cubs only adds to the pressure! .....But i am so very proud of you two and all you have accomplished! You both have someone to love. A pride to call your own. And you have each other. Your grandparents...all four of them, would be proud to call you two their grandsons! Just like i'm proud to call you my boys! And Hondo.....getting help doesn't mean you're weak or a failure...it means you have ones that love you enough to help you when you need it the most! I'll always be your father...and I'll always be here for you! Hondo...I really want you to have these.
He puts the necklace on the ground.
Adofo: I love you boys...never forget that! .....goodbye.
He turned and started walking back home.

[Iri]

Hondo grunted. "I can't put this on by myself," he snorted, rolling his eyes and turning to go back home.

[Adofo]

Adofo heard him and turned around.
Adofo: Would you.....like me to put it on you?

[Iri]

"That is, unless you'd like me to say I want the tree to do it," Hondo teased.

[Adofo]

Adofo picked up the necklace and walked towards his son.
Adofo: This necklace means a lot to me.....promise me you'll keep it safe!

[Iri]

"I'm always careful with things like this," Hondo promised.
