Adofo: So...can i ask.....how's Hondo been? Is he like this to everyone or...just me?

[Iri]

Chiku rolled her eyes. "I visited him a few days ago," she replied. "No need to think that you're the only one for everything," she teased gently. "He's been acting like this to everyone, all right? It's not just you."

[Adofo]

Adofo: That's what I thought. But hopefully he'll let me just talk to him.

[Iri]

"My brother is one of dignity and pride. He will most likely not want to talk," Chiku said. "And if you try to force him into listening you, that will only make matters worse."

[Adofo]

Adofo: I know. I won't force anything on him. I just want to talk, father to son. And if he doesn't want to talk at all then.......so be it. I only want to help my boy.

[Iri]

Chiku shrugged. "But, if you do try to force him to listen to you, he won't be happy," she said. She butted his shoulder with her forehead. "He's a father now. He's probably stressed and feeling over-protective of his daughters."

[Adofo]

Adofo: How do you think I was? I mean I was terrified my cubs would reject me because I wasn't a lion.......I was afraid you kids would reject me......sometimes I feel like Hondo never really accepted me. Even before he even left Priderock.....he usually stayed distant.

[Iri]

Chiku bristled. "He's never been social," she replied. She thought he was going on, feeling sorry for himself again. "Never. Not even as a cub."

[Adofo]

Adofo held his necklace of his two mothers teeth in his hands.
Adofo: ......I need to talk to him.

[Iri]

"It has been less than half an hour since you left his territory," Chiku pointed out.
