Adofo: Son, can you please talk to your daughters?

[Iri]

"Given the fact that you did startle them out of their wits, I'd say no." Hondo rolled his eyes, clearly still annoyed. He leaned down and talked to his daughters quietly for a moment.
The cubs walked to a nearby den.
"I talked to them. However," Hondo said. "Number one, can you please make sure that you scent us and make sure there is no one else with us?" he asked irritably. "Especially not lionesses that are jumpy or skittish. Number two, not only did you scare my cubs half to death, you scared me. And number three, I'd appreciate it if you didn't cross our borders so boldly like that again. I do understand that you're family, but Gamba and I passed a law that whether family or not, you are NOT to cross our borders and come into our territory without an escort or permission." He narrowed his eyes. He made sure not to sound too annoyed, but his words were firm and stern.

[Adofo]

Adofo: I'm sorry but.....son I'm your father.....I raised you...I can visit my boys just because I love you?

[Iri]

"Father, of course!" Gamba said. He glared slightly at his brother. "Hondo-"
"You would understand if you were a father," Hondo said to his brother, his eyes still narrowed.
"I'm sorry, Father," Gamba said, glaring at Hondo. "Of course you can visit us! Anytime you want! But," he continued, his gaze still gentle and his voice remaining friendly, "we would appreciate it if you didn't just sneak up on us like that, and if you asked to come into our territory first."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Okay. I'm sorry. And Hondo.....is something wrong? It's okay if something is. You can ask for my help.

[Iri]

"No," Hondo said. He turned away. "It's nothing."
"It isn't anything," Gamba assured Adofo. "He's just stressed, that's all, with his new cubs and stuff."
"And I have others that could help me, thanks," Hondo said curtly. He walked into his caves.
Yuna looked shocked. "Sir," she said to Adofo, "I am so sorry for Hondo's behaviour, I'll-I'll talk to him. I'm-I'm sorry.." She hurried after her mate.
"I'm sorry," Gamba said quietly. "I don't know what's gotten into him. You-you should probably go." He nuzzled Adofo affectionately. "Love you, Father!"

[Adofo]

Adofo: I love you too but.....I want to talk to Hondo. I know he would say he wouldn't need it but I need to give him some parenting advice.

[Iri]

"Father," Gamba said, shaking his head, "Please. Hondo needs alone time. And you know how stubborn he is. He won't accept help from anyone. Not me, not you. I'm sorry, but Hondo wants to be alone for a while." He flicked his tail.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Okay. But can i come back tomorrow? I just want to talk with him. Father to son. Can you just ask him to do that? Please son?

[Iri]

Gamba sighed again. "I don't know. I'll try. But if I do, you have to promise that you won't try to pressure Hondo. He's stressed enough as is." He turned away and went into one of the caves.
After Adofo returned to Pride Rock, Chiku greeted him. "Hello," she said. Her voice was calm, not really warm and cheery but not cold or stern either. More casual.
