Kapuki opened her mouth to protest, then nodded uneasily. "Yes."

Adofo: Honey. Look me in the eyes.

Kapuki slowly glanced up at him.

[Nothing personal or super-emotional, just sort of a reassurance thing.]

Adofo: You are not like your parents! You love your sisters SO much! You left! And you let someone who you tried to kill you adopt you. You are not your parents! I know, if you had a million cubs, you'd be an amazing mother to each and everyone of them! And i say that not with my mouth...but with my heart!

"Hey," Kapuki protested a bit. "I never tried to kill you."

[She didn't.]
