So not only is there no mention of Kovu but also the 90% of the main voices have declined. I am losing hope. If Disney comes out of this with a good show I will be very pleasantly surprised, but right now it seems like a long shot. Zazu sounded so horrible in SP I really hope the entire new cast is not like that in this show. Isn't it odd that I still can't wait to see the premiere of this series.
Where did you find out that 90% of the main voices declined? And yeah, Zazu did sound horrible in SP, but yet, he's still my fav. character.

Goth princess kiara said that some main ones wouldn't come back, so maybe 90% was an exaggeration but it is still a big deal if its true.

I'll be surprised if Robert Guillaume and Ernie Sabella do not return to voice Rafiki and Pumbaa. They have never missed a chance to voice them before.

That's true. Like I said though, Robert is 86, but I don't think he has a terrible illness, so he might...I don't think anyone else could voice Rafiki like he did.

Betty White is 92 and she still acts so I don't think it's impossible. Although he did not reprise his role as Mr. Thicknose in The Land Before Time Series, and Dorian Harewood the actor they got to replace him sounded nothing like Robert. Although I think it's a safe bet that Disney would at least be willing to ask Robert to reprise his role, so I think it's O.K. to be cautiously optimistic that he will return as Rafiki.

Amen to that. The only way Disney could realistically recast Mufasa is if he appears as a cub in a flashback of some kind.

I know a lot of TV shows that have a theme song and now I'm wondering if Lion Guard will have one and if so, will Lebo M. do it?

Has anyone heard of Greg Ellis, the actor? If Rowan A. or Micheal G. don't come back to do the voice of Zazu, Greg could pass for Zazu.

I know, if I live to be that old and can move around half as well as she can I will be a lucky man.

I'm sure Lion Guard will have a them song, It would be great if Lebo M. would do something for it. He was involved in Lion King 1 1/2 so I think there could be a chance.
