Kapuki's claws kneaded at the ground. "Anyway," she said, keeping her voice from snarling. "What did you want to talk to me about?"

Adofo: You know that new lion that joined the pride? He's amazing! He's been such a big help! As a hunter, a border protecter! You know...i know its not any of my business...but i think he likes you! You should give him a chance.

[Iri]

"Why should I?" Kapuki said. She wasn't hostile, merely misunderstanding. "I don't trust him."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Baby...sometimes you have to give others at least a small chance. I mean, you gave me a chance to be your dad. And are you happy you did?

[Iri]

Kapuki grunted. "Yes. But I don't trust him."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Hey...if anything goes wrong, daddy will be there right beside you and we'll handle it! But...can you please just try? Please?

Kapuki narrowed her eyes. "I don't want to."
