False. I've used both, and 8.1 served me well, my only problem was that my laptop was a lenovo, and those apparently do not work long, so I had to get a new one... And, news flash, no one offers anything other than Macs that isn't 8 or 8.1 anymore, and I don't like Macs.

Amazon offers quite a selection of Windows 7 laptop and desktops. (Vista served me well for a while too. Still didn't make it good. )

I'm poor, or did you forget? I have to rent to own, or no computer, and I kind of need one for school. My only issue with this one so far is I'd want it to be a touch screen and I've lost my files. You're not as clever or witty as you think.
