I'm a bit glum today. A friend is passed off with me for not wanting to spend £70 on a single zoo trip and honestly? I'm sorry to admit that I'm rather envious of people living with or so close to their other halves. I'm lucky if I see mine every couple of weeks at the moment and its REALLY getting me down.
Sorry for the rant but I needed to get it off my chest.
But you are at least in a relationship. I'm sick of hearing about people's relationships full stop. It's like "Okay I know you think it's worth sharing that you and your partner are watching Jeremy Kyle but I just don't find it that interesting tbh."
Where have all the strong independent women gone in this World?! Now THAT, that was a rant!
Bit of advice :
Enjoy your time away from him as much as you can, that way he can look forward to seeing you and hearing about all the awesome stuff you have been doing since he last saw you.
I mean I don't know him but that's what I personally like in my relationships. It's incredibly boring when a girl answers "Nothing. Just missing you." when you ask what they are or have been up to. It's cute for a bit but then it's like "Have you no hobbies, interests, career aspirations or new experiences in your life?!"
But when you have Been with him for 3 years and all your friends are moving in with their other halves or getting engaged, then it's difficult not to miss your boyfriend. Yeh
I have stuff to do up here and its not like I'm sitting around doing nothing but moping, but it's hard when you want a hug and can't have one. Guess it's hard to explain if you haven't been in a relationship for that long.
God guys, all she did was remark how she was feeling.... And it's a natural feeling to miss your loved one if you are away from them for a long time.. No need to jump down her throat -.- And If you don't like seeing relationship statuses.. JUST IGNORE THEM. Don't make them feel worse by having a go and making the situation worse. And just for the record... Missing someone you love and feeling down about not being in a relationship are two totally different things.
My rant is now over.
I am feeling pretty hungry myself.
