"I'll tell you why!" Kapuki snarled. "Sunny and Shade tried to make me become Mashuhuri's mate because Mashuhuri's father offered Shade land if I became Mashuhuri's mate."
"Exactly," Mashuhuri said. "I love Kapuki with all my heart."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Mashuhuri, you mind if I have a quick word with Kapuki for a minute?

[Iri]

"Oh, yes, of course, Sire!" Mashuhuri said, dipping his head politely. He and Shujaa went off.
Kapuki bristled. "What?"

[Adofo]

Adofo: Look...Shade and Sunny aren't apart of your life anymore! Can't you give this guy a chance?

[Iri]

"As a matter of fact, they are," Kapuki said. "I can't get them out of my head! And why should I give Mashuhuri a chance?!"

[Adofo]

Adofo: Cuz.....I want you to live a happy life!

[Iri]

"Oh, ha, ha," Kapuki said. "You think I'm going to be happy with him?"

Adofo: You won't know unless you try.

Kapuki growled. "The few that are able to make me happy are Ua and Shujaa. Why? Because they aren't traitors."
