Moto waited outside with Muroki, confident that his mate would be able to take care of Umeme. However, it didn't stop his son in law from looking like a complete nervous wreck. "Are you all right, Muroki?" the older lion asked, placing a paw on the younger's shoulder, "Umeme's going to be fine. Fadhili knows what she's doing." While he couldn't really blame Muroki for being nervous, he really hoped that Muroki would at least start to begin calming down soon.

Inside the den, Umeme got her hopes up when she saw who walked in this time. "Mom!" For some reason, this time, she didn't get angry, unlike moments ago when she shouted at her own mate to leave. Was it because she trusted her mother more for something like this? Or was it something else?

Whatever the reason was, with Fadhili in the den with her, Umeme felt much more calm than before. Now she really new that everything will be just fine.

Muroki was so distracted because of the fact that his nerves were working in overdrive, but he found himself coming to a half when his father in law placed a paw on his shoulder. "You can't know for sure!" he said, looking at Moto as if he was looking at someone insane. It's not that he doubted the older lion when he said that Fadhili knew what she was doing; it was the fact that births could and have gone wrong before which worried him so much. "What if something really bad happens?!" The agitated lion then continued his annoyed pacing.

Lina was also noticeably nervous, shuffling her front paws as she continued to stare at the den, not paying attention to her brother in law. Kato also seemed like he wasn't too thrilled with how nervous Muroki was, but the younger male obviously didn't know what to say in order to calm the soon to be father down.

Inside, Fadhili smiled at her daughter as she lay down beside her. She was obviously also nervous about the possibility of something going wrong, but she also knew that the chances of that happening weren't high. Umeme was a strong and healthy lioness and was born a healthy cub. She wasn't sure about Muroki, but he was without a doubt a lion who shouldn't be unable to produce healthy offsprings. There was really no reason to worry about the newborns as far as the soon-to-be-grandmother was concerned.

"It's okay, sweetheart, don't worry..." she said reassuringly, nuzzling her daughter for a brief moment. "I won't lie to you. It's going to get even more unpleasant from here." She licked the top of Umeme's head gently, placing a paw over her shoulders. "But I'm here with you. You're a strong lioness, Umeme. You've been through so much with Muroki and I know you can do it. The two of you have come such a long way for this. I'm very proud of you and so is your father." She offered her daughter another smile. "Now, it's a little hard to explain, but... you'll know when to push. There really isn't much to it. Just pull through like I know you can and will."

Delano sat next to Lina, but didn't try to bring her out of her transfixed gaze at the den entrance. "She'll be fine," he tried to reassure her, but it didn't seem to be working. So he settled to sitting next to her, holding a paw around her shoulder just in case, but he did wonder often if she even knew that he was there. Even Moto stopped trying to stop Muroki's pacing as he too stared at the den.

Eventually, after what felt like a very long time, Fadhili came out of the den, smiling. Delano's hopes grew tremendously: if she was smiling, then it meant that everything did indeed end up going fine, and there was nothing to worry about. However, he doubted that he would go in now:

it was Muroki's time to go into the den alone again to meet Umeme. And his new cub or cubs.

Sure enough, as soon as he saw his mother in law step out of the den, Muroki became rooted to the spot. When she looked at him with a smile and gave him a small nod with her head, letting him know that he could go inside, he wasted no time in doing just that, obviously dying to find out that everything was okay. He came to a halt as he passed the entrance of the den and saw his mate, who was lying with her back to him and appeared to be busy with something.

"Umeme?" Cautiously, the male began to slowly walk towards the lioness, wondering whether she was still angry at him for whatever reason. But it didn't look like she was. As he got to her side his eyes went a little wide upon spotting two very little bundles of fur between his mate's paws.He felt at a complete loss for words. One of the two cubs had his fur color and the other had Umeme's colors. They had two cubs. "Umeme, I..." he carefully lay down next to her, placing a paw over her and licking her forehead. "Are you okay?" his gaze then moved back to their cubs. "They're beautiful..."

Meanwhile, outside, Lina allowed herself to heave a sigh of relief when her mother came over to them and told them that everything had gone well. Umeme and the cubs were all okay. "Give them a few minutes and then we'll go inside." she said with a happy smile, sitting down next to Moto. It didn't look like she was going to tell them how many cubs had just been born, much to their annoyance, but they would find out soon enough.

Inside the den, Umeme was busy cleaning her new-borns. Looking up when Muroki walked in, she smiled at him. "Muroki! Y-yes, I'm fine. Come and look at our new son and daughter!" She allowed him to get close to her paws, where she was keeping the two very small fluffy bundles of fur. She smiled fondly at them. "All of that trouble for these two... it really was worth it. Mom and dad were right... they're so beautiful."

She rubbed her head against Muroki's, before resuming her cleaning of the cubs as they started to squeal in protest at being left alone. "To think... that we all start this small..."

With Lina calmed down, Delano was finally able to properly wrap a paw around her. Even though he knew that nothing bad had happened, he couldn't help but have his mind race as he imagined what could possibly be going on inside the den. It would only be a matter of time before he found out, he supposed.

Muroki's smile only grew wider when he listened to Umeme. They had a son and a daughter. They were parents. It was quite difficult to grasp even though he was looking at their two cubs. He happily rubbed his head against his mate's, chuckling to himself as the two cubs began to squeal as a result of the lack of attention. "They're perfect, Umeme..." he said with a warm smile as he briefly interrupted his mate in order to lick the two cubs once himself. They were so tiny in comparison to their parents, especially to him. "Have you decided what you'd like to call them?"

The relief outside the den was more than just palpable. Even though everyone really wanted to go inside to check on Umeme and the cubs, they all waited patiently. Fadhili's expression clearly suggested that everything was alright, but Lina felt like she would fully calm down once she saw her sister. It was after what felt like eternity but was actually just a few minutes that her mother finally said they could go in.

Umeme stared down at the two tiny fluffs. "I thought of a few ideas," she said, "but I would want you to name one of them too. I was thinking..." She placed a paw gently at their son. The cub made a noise of complaint at the touch, but stopped quickly as Umeme gently ran her paw through his fur. "What do you think of Ubawa?"

Delano could tell that Lina wanted to desperately get inside the den, but also had to wonder if it would be a good idea or not if they all went inside, now that there is at least one newly born cub in there. So when Fadhili finally gave permission for them to go in, he chose not to follow Lina inside. "I'll wait for you out here," he told her gently, "don't want to scare the new family by all storming inside now, do we?" He gave her a sly grin before motioning with his head that he was fine with letting her go inside.

Muroki honestly wouldn't have minded letting Umeme name both cubs. He was too happy in order to care which one of them got the privilige to do so and he believed that his mate had more than earned the right to chose both names. She'd given birth to them after all. However, he wasn't going to argue with her. If she wanted him to name their daughter, then he gladly would. "Ubawa..." he repeated their son's name once, smiling. "It fits him perfectly." He then looked at their daughter, gently nuzzling her. "Marini sounds like a nice name... What do you think?"

As confused as Lina was by Delano's decision, she was too eager to see Umeme and the cubs in order to argue. "But don't take too long, okay?" she asked before heading inside along with her parents, leaving Delano and Kato outside. She immediately made her way over to her sister and brother-in-law, sitting down by Umeme's side. "Is everything okay, Umeme?" she asked with a hint of concern in her voice. Then she saw the teo newborns. "Wow..." She has never seen cubs that were this young. They were so little.

Fadhili meanwhile chuckled to herself, looking at Moto in the corner of her eye. "Can you believe it, honey?" she asked quietly. "Two grandchildren... A boy and a girl..."

"Marini? Ubawa and Marini... I like those names." Umeme smiled warmly as Muroki gently contacted his children for the first time. Despite their tremendous size difference, Muroki at this moment looked like he wouldn't even be able to harm a fly based on how gently he nuzzled both his son and daughter.

The light coming in from the den's entrance flickered as the others walked in. Umeme looked up and smiled at the. "We've got a boy and a girl, everyone!" She fell silence as she allowed the others in her family to get their first looks at the newest and youngest pair. "They're great, Lina," she said quietly, "and soon... soon you'll have at least one of your own."

Moto grinned at his mate. "At least it's only two and not more," he joked, "otherwise Umeme and Muroki would have some serious trouble on their paws." Despite his joking, he couldn't be more proud of his daugther and son in law.

Outside the den, Delano suddenly found himself alone. Well, with Kato, but did that really count? Suddenly feeling very foolish, he hurriedly got up to his feet and rushed inside the den. Sure enough, it was completely packed full, but there wasn't much he could do about it. "Lina? Lina!"

Despite being really focused on her newborn niece and nephew, Lina managed to notice that her mate had called out to her. "Over here, Delano!" she called, smiling as he managed to find his way over to her. "Look at them..." she whispered, resting her head against his shoulder. Now she really couldn't wait for her and Delano's cubs to be born as well... "We have a niece and a nephew... They're just..." she sighed happily, looking at her mate. "We'll have at least one cub of our own in about a month from now..."

Muroki continued to nuzzle his cubs, unable to not smile as they both purred in content. He noticed Kato lie down next to him and ceased the display of affection, smiling at the prince. The cubs might comppain, but nothing bad would happen. "They're really cute... What are their names?" asked the younger lion, smiling as he looked down at the little balls of hair between Umeme's paws.

"The boy's Ubawa and the girl's Marini." said the father of the cubs, nuzzling his newborns once more. This was, without a doubt, the happiest moment in his life. He once again placed a paw over Umeme's back, holding her close. "They're here..." he whispered, resting his head against hers. "They're finally here..." Muroki then licked his mate on the top of her head. "Ubawa looks like you." The cubs wouldn't open their eyes for another two weeks or so, so the two proud parents were going to have to wait to find out what color their eyes were.

Fadhili giggled to herself, giving her mate a quick lick across his cheek. "Yeah, I suppose." Watching her daughter with cubs of her own filled her with pride and made her as happy as she'd been when she'd given birth to her daughters. Kato looked at the two grandparents before suddenly rising to his paws and stepping aside, giving them room to approach their grandchildren. Fadhili gave him a small nod of thanks before making her way over Muroki's side with her mate.
