I'm thinking of calling this girl Mbaya. Not sure though..
Anyway...
Mbaya was born to a very mean lioness. She was trained to hate and kill, however, she despised her training. But she also wanted to please her mother.
Her mother wasn't always cruel to little Mbaya. She did have a gentle side, but it faded one day, when Mbaya's mother forced her to get up early to battle train... Mbaya hardly remembered her mother's former gentle nature and grew used to the harshness from her mother.
The cub was forced to train from dawn until dusk, while practicing battle moves. Her mother would command her to roll, leap, duck, dodge, and strike. If she did something wrong, her mother would growl and give her a cold lecture as well as a cuff over the ears.
Mbaya was even blinded in one eye by her mother's claws, turning her eye from its beautiful teal to a cloudy grey.
When Mbaya's mother died of illness, she left with a heavy grief. Her mother was brutal and cruel, yes, but she loved the lioness nevertheless.
Mbaya, now full-grown, adopted an abandoned cub. She was told by a lizard that the cub's name was Ua, as the lizard had heard someone yelling "Ua". Mbaya took care of the tiny cub and cared for Ua as if Ua was her own.
She knew what it was like to have limited sight; she knew what it was like to be scarred, she knew what it was like to feel pain.

She looks like she's seen a lot and could tell a lot of stories. Poor Mbaya. She looks half dead; and still with your drawings she looks as a live as real can be. (Meaning realistic, what I just said makes no sense what so ever! XD)
