Nala and Scar were mates???

Whoever said that Nala and Scar were mates anyways? Since Simba was banished and Scar ruled, he may have mated with several lionesses, including Nala, but which begs the question if she had mated, would she have a cub? Where did the cub go? I don't really think that's true though, I mean, SERIOUSLY. Why on EARTH would Scar have a crush on Nala? He's like...ANCIENT compared to Nala!

Keep in mind though that not all mating sessions result in pregnancy. Not as if I'm trying to defend this theory that Scar and Nala were mates, even if I do think it could be true to some degree as I stated in my previous post in this thread, but yeah, just pointing this fact out. that's why lions do have such an active sex life, since the chances of a lioness becoming pregnant off a single mating session is slim to none.

Sort of works. It explains the blue eyes. I personally don't don't believe that they were mates, but I think that he wanted to mate with her.

There is absolutley no evidence in the movie of Scar having any kind of relationship with ANY of the lionesses in the pride.

Any theory on a certain lioness being Scars mate is just a theory, TLK gives no hints that Scar had mated with (or even had feelings for) any lioness.

You know, I was kind of thinking that. I don't either agree that Scar and Nala were mates either.....it makes you wonder if Mufasa mated with Sarabi, including Sarafina! That might be the solution for the 'who was Sarafina's mate?' question!

If TLK was based on real pride behavior Mufasa would have matted with all the lionesses and had cubs with them, so Simba and Nala would be siblings!
However, since Disney can't have obvious, if ANY incest, this probably isn't true.

If TLK was based on real pride behavior Mufasa would have matted with all the lionesses and had cubs with them, so Simba and Nala would be siblings!
However, since Disney can't have obvious, if ANY incest, this probably isn't true.

and that's where the fan fics roll in plus if I know Scar he won't mate with Nala...it will be much worse.

Good point. But even so, since Simba would be the lead lion, he would have mated with all the females, including his own mother etc. But yet again, Disney wouldn't do that.

I understand what you mean. It depends if they have several sessions though. And if they tried lots of times to mate, I wonder if it would happen. But I don't really think mating talk is very appropriate for younger viewers here. *Eyes several people*
