(Can that be her? I was thinking she'd ask why he cared so much for her.)

[Not claws.. right now it's kind of seeming like she's a mad killer when she isn't.]

Kapuki glared down at him. "I don't want to kill you. Why do you care so much for me?! I'm not yours, so why bother?!"

[Adofo]

(I know. Its just incentive.)

Adofo: Because.....my heart cares so much for you! If I had a choice for you to have been born to me, i would have. I love you! Right now there is nothing I'd want more than to call you my daughter! You deserve better than Shade. You always have.

[Iri]

Kapuki sheathed her claws. "I don't want to hurt anyone." She sat down and sighed. "I'll never be like Shujaa or Ua."

[Adofo]

Adofo: No.....you'll be you. That's all I want. You are who you are. I mean....look at me!! I'm a human! There were countless times i wished i could just be a lion.....but eventually....i accepted it.

Kapuki rolled her eyes irritably, wishing he'd stop talking about his human roots. "Well, if you wouldn't mind, I'm going to leave."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Wait! One last thing...give me one hour! Just an hour. To prove to you how much i love and need you. Then.....if you stay....you'll be my daughter....but if you leave.....well....you know...you leave. Please?

[Iri]

"I just wish you'd stop talking about your human roots," Kapuki mumbled. It was just a vague bumble of words to anyone else.

Adofo: Is that why you won't let me adopt you? Because I'm human?

"No!" Kapuki said. "I'm not prejudiced, see, you just think I'm an insane, killing, prejudiced monster! But you're always complaining how hard life is because you're not a lion and... it gets irritating."
