Shade sneered. "Poor little sweetheart.. isn't she just beautiful? Once I'm done with her she'll be a wreck." He dug his claws into her chest. Shujaa cried out.

[Adofo]

Adofo: STOP! STOP I! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS!?!?!? SHE'S YOUR FLESH AND BLOOD!

[Iri]

"She betrayed me," Shade hissed. "She left to go to you." He touched Shujaa's scars with his claw.
"Daddy!" Shujaa wailed. "Help!"

[Adofo]

Adofo: It's okay! Daddy's gonna get you out of here! Look! It was because of me she's been acting up! I influenced her! Take me and let her go!

[Iri]

"No!" Shade sneered. "We don't want you. Take the worthless cub." He clawed Shujaa's neck and shoved her away. Shujaa huddled by Adofo.

[By the way, he wasn't lying. He doesn't want Adofo and neither does anyone else in his pride.]

[Adofo]

Adofo: BABY! ARE YOU OKAY!?!?!

[Iri]

Shujaa coughed and licked the blood from her neck. "I'm fine."
"If you don't get out of here, Shujaa," Shade snarled, "I will twist your leg just like I twisted Kapuki's. Only it'll be worse. Now get lost, you worthless excuse of a cub!"

[Adofo]

He picked her up and ran.
Adofo: Baby, I'm so sorry! I let you down!

"No, you didn't," Shujaa promised. "I promise! And to prove it to you, I want to exchange blood!"
