I share the same opinion as SilverSimba. She's just evil and I wish that disney had explained the reason of why Zira was a follower of Scar or just further delve into her personality...again, I suppose that is where fanfiction and fan art come in but still....

Yeah, but Zira is, compared to Scar, a bit more pointless in her hatred. Scar had a proper goal; becoming king. Zira just wanted to kill Simba. Her plan to train Kovu to become a king came later, as seen in the scene right before "my Lullaby"

Zira believes that Simba killed Scar, which is not true. The only real reason Zira has for hating Simba is that he banished her and her cubs.

Yeah, I know. Zira does say that herself in the movie. I just mean that that’s not a real reason to hate Simba, because Simba never killed Scar.

so.....Zira hating Simba doesn't make sense after all? What also confuses me, is that the reason for her banishment is never mentioned in the movie.

Zira hating Simba for banishing her is completly understandable.

Sorry for the confusion, I didn’t mean to say that Zira doesn’t have a reason for hating Simba.
