(It's a common step dad thing.)

Adofo: Awww, come here kiddo!

[Iri]

[Ohh.]

Hondo smiled and nuzzled Adofo with a father-son affection and stretched. "We should head back."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Yeah.
Without giving him a choice, he slides under his son and stands up. Making him ride on his back.
Adofo: Let's take the long way around!
He turns the exact opposite way from priderock and takes off as fast as he can. He is actually managing to run pretty fast.

[Iri]

Hondo leaped off of Adofo and narrowed his eyes, then walked away, taking his own route to Pride Rock.
"He hates it when others do that," Chiku said, arching an eyebrow. "Just a paws-up notice that's just a tad bit late."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Oh.......SORRY SON!! Will he be okay?

[Iri]

"Oh, he'll be fine," Chiku snorted, flicking her tail. "He's just proud and likes to do things on his own." She followed her brother.
Iri walked up to Adofo. "Hi."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Hey baby!

[Iri]

Iri sat down and scratched her ear with her paw. "Sorry about Hondo."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Oh....it's okay. I was just trying to have a little more fun with him. He's always been kind of distant with me so...we never really do anything at all together. I was just wanting to spend just a little bit more time with him! .....oh well. It was a stupid way to do it anyways.

[Iri]

"It's all right," Yekize said, following Iri. "Like Chiku said, Hondo is just proud and independent. He likes to spend time alone. But don't worry, my love, he still loves you." Yekize licked Adofo's cheek.
