Arida stayed silent, wondering if these two had a bad history between each other.

The male blinked, and snorted. "Reese, what have you done to yourself?"
He picked at her eyes, revealing cyan eyes under dark blue contacts. She snarled and closed her eyes, afraid to conceal herself to her pride, while her brother stripped off fake hair, revealing just white bangs.
"That's better."

[Iri]

Arida glared with hostility at him. How dare he just do that to Reese on Reese's territory, to just rudely do that to his own sister? Jerk, she thought furiously. She couldn't help feeling defensive. She fought back to urge to snarl out loud but she couldn't resist unsheathing her claws. She kept back an aggressive growl.

[If it seems like I put way too much detail into my descriptions, sorry. I like to write stories. That's my excuse. XD]

Alec pushed her gently, and the surprise caused Reese to open her eyes. She gasped, picked up her contacts, put them on, and snarled.
"HOW DARE YOU! Now everyone will treat me like Xoyana did!"
"Oh, okay, I'm just Xoyana under Alec's mask, then." He growled.
"SHUT UP, ALEC!" Reese screamed, pouring tears.
"Reese, STOP being insecure!" He roared. "If you want everything Xoyana said about you to become true, then STOP!"

[Okay. c: I'll read it as soon as I can. So do you like writing? Can Arida defend Reese or something?]

Arida stood next to Reese and glared at Reese's brother with her hostility growing. It had first been a spark; now it was a wildfire.

Reese roared and aimed to smack her brother, but he dodged.
"I won't stop until you stop!" He growled.

[Iri]

Arida finally had had enough. She bellowed at this "Alec" and drew her lips back, revealing keen white teeth. Her claws unsheathed fully and she snarled loudly. "Leave her alone, you reeking pile of dung!" she roared at him, her eyes blazing like ice-blue fire.

[Yay, thanks. XD Arida is very defensive of her friends.]

Alec turned at Arida and growled at her, but said nothing. The lionesses were too intimidated by Alec's build to approach.

Arida wasn't intimidated. She knew he was much, much, much bigger than her and she knew he could probably kill her. But she didn't care. In her mind, no one hurt Reese like that. "Alec" might have been muscular, but she was lithe and fast. She growled back at him, anger sparking in her eyes. "What's wrong with you? Back off!" she yelled, her usual gentle, compassionate voice now ferocious and hostile.

Alec took a daring (and for Arida, foolhardy) step forward. "Try me."
