(He just overprotective and kinda unknowingly starts driving a wedge between Adofo and Yekize. Also I was thinking he didn't like seeing his girl getting all loved on by her mate.)

Adofo: You excited, baby?

[Iri]

[Uh... sure, I guess. Well, he likes that she is loved by her mate. But maybe he sort of tries to tell Yekize what to do and to not do certain things?]

"Yekize, come on!" Jabhar said to his daughter. "We should go hunting."
"But, Father-"
"Now, Yekize." Jabhar's friendliness had seemed to fade.

[Adofo]

(Well not that he hates her being in love but it just bugs him when things get physical. Which is what a father does)

Adofo: It's okay honey. You can go.

[Iri]

[Hm. Okay, sure.. But I was thinking he sort of tries deliberately to sort of separate them. Not because he hates her being in love with Adofo, but because he just doesn't like her having so many cubs with him.]

Yekize sighed. "See you, Adofo." She headed out and later came back with Jabhar, carrying a small zebra.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Hey beautiful!

[Iri]

"Hello, love," Yekize said, licking his chin. After she ate she headed into the den.

[Adofo]

Adofo: She's wonderful!

[Iri]

"Yekize, my daughter? Ah, yes. She's a great lioness," Jabhar said.

[Adofo]

Adofo: She's beautiful, sweet and the best mate anyone could ask for!

[Iri]

"Her mother raised her well. Say... where is her mother? My mate?" Jabhar looked around. "Is she here?"
