(Its just what happens when couples make up. U wanted realism right? But he does mean he doesn't deserve her. Thats what you say when you think of the love of your life as a goddess)

[However, he's said this about ten times, and this time if he means it, it's just going to add more pleading to the story and more of Adofo going "I don't deserve you, I'm the worst husband ever" stuff. :T]

Yekize reached over and licked his cheek affectionately without another word, then headed back down the tree.

Yekize reached over and stopped his words with an affection-filled lick on his cheek.
