Adofo: Yekize, stay here! I'll be back! Take me where you saw them! You twelve, get all the young ones inside and guard them and my mate with your lives! Machui, let's go!

[Iri]

[No one gets kidnapped.]

Machui led him to a dark hole where a bunch of hyenas could easily be heard plotting. One hyena came out the hole.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Okay, let me handle this. You're still recovering.

[Iri]

The hyena crouched down low. "Hello," she said, her voice friendly and polite.
"I may still be recovering but I'll die to protect your pride," Machui hissed. She stood next to Adofo as the hyena spoke.

[Adofo]

Adofo: What are you are your hyenas doing trying to take my cubs away!?

[Iri]

The hyena sat down respectfully. "Good sir, I was never part of this plan."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Okay...then why did those that did attack want them?

[Iri]

"They wish to kill cubs, good sir," the hyena said. "Excuse me. I'm Sagira. Please, believe me, I have no part in this. I've been attempting to convince them to leave your cubs alone but they refuse to listen. Come with me and I will explain everything to you." She led him to a quiet, sheltered spot.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Hey, I'm sorry I snapped at you. Its just I've never met a hyena that didn't want to eat or rip me apart. You know who I am?

[Iri]

"No need to be sorry. Most of the animals hate my kind," Sagira said politely with a dismissive wave of her paw. "Yes, I know who you are, Adofo. You're Vice King of the Pridelands." She sat down.
