Sky shook her head sadly. "He was a cruel lion. What do you mean that she could actually sleep at night?"

[Adofo]

Adofo: She has nightmare's about him. She wakes up screaming a lot of nights.....i feel so bad for her....

[Iri]

Sky bit her lip. "What are her nightmares about?" she asked softly.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Just.....that horrible thing he did.....night after night....when she wakes up i go sleep with her to calm her down.....i wish i could just take it all away.

[Iri]

"Does she wake up screaming?" Sky whispered.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Every night...

[Iri]

Sky bit her lip.
Later that night, Adena was sleeping in the cave, when suddenly she was struck by a nightmare. She woke up with a shrill, terrified scream. Her heart pounded and her head throbbed. That was one of her worst nightmares. She laid her head down and covered her scarred muzzle with her paws, starting to cry.

[Adofo]

Adofo crawled over to her and wrapped his arms around her.
Adofo: Shhhh! Shhhh! It's okay! Daddy's here!

[Iri]

Adena's mind echoed with all of the horrible thoughts... her dream had been so real. Tears streamed from her tightly shut eyes and Sky could hear her sobbing.

[Adofo]

Adofo: It's okay.....daddy won't let anything bad happen to you.....it's okay...
