"Umm.... yeah?" Xi-Feng said.

[Baofeng]

Baofeng took a deep breath and said. "Xi-Feng I-I love you,"

[Iri]

[That's a pretty straightforward thing to say.]

Xi-Feng gasped and tilted her head. "Y-you do? Because..." She shuffled her paws. "I've been dying to tell you that I love you."

[Baofeng]

(I know... so straightforward)
"Y-you have," Baofeng stammered.

[Iri]

[Yep.]

"Yes," Xi-Feng said honestly.

[Baofeng]

Maple shifted in his nest. He didn't want them to know that he'd been eavesdropping.

[Iri]

Licha smirked to herself. She had also been eavesdropping.
"Well, well, looks like two lovebirds," Adena said, walking in with a scrawny gazelle.

[Baofeng]

Baofeng walked away blushing. "Umm...,"

[Iri]

"I heard you just as I came dragging the gazelle in," Adena said. She leaned over and whispered, "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone... yet."

Baofeng made no reply but sat down in his nest and stared blankly at the ground.
