Xi-Feng walked outside and came back with a pawful of snow. She pressed it against his wounded flank.

Baofeng sighed as the snow numbed his flank. "Thanks,"

"You're welcome," Xi-Feng said, looking a bit embarrassed.

Baofeng walked over to his nest and started to clean his fur.

Xi-Feng started to give her chest fur a couple of quick, embarrassed strokes.
