[Pfft, I'm called deranged all the time. =P But shush yourself. Zira is better than Simba. But I don't want to have any communication with the Pridelands. Like they live waaaaay too far away to care about the Pridelands.]

"It's fine," Samaki grunted.
"She'll have to stay in my den so I can make sure she doesn't get a concussion," Arida said. "For three or four days at most."

[Adofo]

(As my friend Tonesha would say, "Mmmmm! Mmmmm girl! I KNOW you did NOT just say THAT! Don't chu go there!". And yes. No Pridelands whatsoever.)

Adofo: Okay. Daddy will visit as often as I can! I'll make it up to you!

Samaki curled up on her nest while Arida gave her some herbs for her head.
"Will she be all right?" Gonai asked. She wasn't necessarily his children's sister but she acted like one and sure enough worried like one.

[Adofo]

(OH NO YOU DID'NT)

Adofo: Yeah. She'll be fine! Hey Gonai? Can we talk outside? Just for a sec!

[Iri]

Gonai shrugged and trotted outside of the cave.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Gonai.......I know I'm not a horrible father but.....am I a bad father? I've been ignoring my older kids and.....I've hurt Samaki and Zitkala.....I didn't mean too but.......does that still make me bad?

[Iri]

"No, not at all," Gonai assured him gently. "Listen, Zitkala fell into a tree and got stuck. You had to get her out or something could have hurt her! Listen, a little bit of ripped fur isn't going to hurt her relationship with you. And instead of hurting her, you saved her. What if you hadn't given her the idea to roar to find you? She might not have figured that out in time. And when you did find out, you got her out. What if you hadn't found her? She could have been found by a snake and she could have died. And with Samaki, it was an accident. You didn't know there were rocks there. I promise you, you're not a bad father, you're not a horrible father, you're a great father to them. They all love you. Besides, all of your cubs, even the ones that are adults now, are going their own ways, following their own paths, finding mates and having cubs, and all that. None of their dreams or wishes would have come true if not for you."

Gonai shrugged humbly. "I have nothing to be proud of," she mumbled.
