"Adofo, please, you can't just come in and disturb the patients," Arida whispered. "Even if they're kin."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Arida, it's just pain from her fur being pulled off. Calm down. How is she?

[Iri]

Arida didn't calm down. "I didn't say it was major, I just said you can't just waltz in and disturb the patients, even if it's a minor scratch," she said.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Okay. But don't you raise your voice to your grandpa like that! YOu were raised better.

[Iri]

Arida's ears twitched irritably and her tail flicked. She was annoyed that he was treating her like a cub. She took a deep breath and crushed down a stab of anger. "Zitkala is asleep. She's well." She turned and walked back into her den.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Wait......hey, you know I still treat you like a baby sometimes.......but I only do it to try to teach you. You need to learn to put others feelings and how they work on the table instead of what you think is how it works. It's a part of growing up. But you never really stop growing.

[Iri]

"Oh, so you think everyone should just get their way all the time?" Arida growled to herself. Anger radiated through her pelt and her ears were twitching.

Adofo: Just try being more gentle. You can be a little mean at times. I know you're better than that! Arida.....I love you!

[Iri]

Arida huffed.
Yekize looked at Adofo. "Listen, I know she seems bitter right now but she's so stressed. She has two cubs to take care of, the position of an Osain medic, and a bunch of other things to take care of."

Adofo: Okay.......bye Arida......grandpa loves you......a whole lot!
Adofo carries Zitkala up to the den.
Adofo: Okay young lady, time for a nap.
