[Iri]

Yekize was already asleep but just hearing his voice in her sleep made her feel safe and comfortable.
The next morning, Yekize woke up.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Good morning!
He said while still holding her paw.

[Iri]

"Good morning, my love," Yekize said.

[Adofo]

Adofo: I held your cute little paw all night!

[Iri]

Yekize smiled and cuddled up against him. "Well, it's time to go."
When their cubs awoke, they looked sleepy. Yekize carried them on her back. "Come on, let's head home."

[Adofo]

Adofo: That was fun! Hey.....I had a dream about us last night! You wanna hear when we get home?

[Iri]

"Sure," Yekize said.
Once they got home, the cubs scrambled off to do their usual things; Yekize sat by Adofo. "Well, what was that dream?"

[Adofo]

Adofo: I had a dream, you and me....we were kid versions of ourselves! We were around four years old! We were just....playing! Like kids! We played from sunrise to sunset! And then.......right before the sun finished setting.......I asked you something!

(I was thinking, this ACTUALLY DID happen! But they were both so young they don't remember it. BUT...there's more to it.)

[Iri]

[Hmm, well, you have to remember that Yekize lived in a different pride until her late adolescence.]

"Well, I think in your dream you were four," Yekize teased. "I might have been about six months old or something." She smiled.

[Adofo]

(Yeah, I know. That'll be explained shortly)

Adofo: Well, whatever. I asked you....to marry me. You said yes. And right as the sun left the horizon, our lips met! It was one of the best dreams I ever had!
