"Adofo," Yekize said gently. "Don't blame yourself."

Adofo: .....there are times.......I just feel like I'm not fit to be a parent! I upset my kids constantly! I lose my temper! They run away!!! ......*sigh*.......I'm not even half the father my dad was...... He always inspired me that i could be a great father someday! .......but i guess that's just a dream.

[Iri]

"Adofo," Yekize said. "You're not a bad parent. They... they're just upset. But it's not your fault."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Am I!? When i was growing up, me and Simba NEVER got upset with our father! no matter what, he was there to save us! We NEVER got hurt with him around! Look at our kids! Ua got maimed! Half our kids have hated me at some point or another! I can go on!!! .......I just......my father was my hero! He was big......strong......loving.......caring......understanding.......he was......perfect! But look at me! ......I'm a joke of a father.........I'm not worthy to be called his son.

[Iri]

[I thought he wasn't supposed to go into depression mode.]

Yekize unsheathed her claws and kneaded the ground with them.

[Adofo]

(There's a difference between depression and mopping.)

Adofo: .......honey i'm sorry. It's just......it's really hard to try to live up to my father.

[Iri]

[Pf.]

"Adofo. You don't need to be your father. You can follow in his pawprints, but you don't need to be exactly him," Yekize said. She turned away.

[Adofo]

Adofo took off his shoes to look at his "paws". Then he left the cave barefoot out into the night down behind Priderock to his parents grave.
Adofo: Hey mom. ...........hey dad. ......*sigh*......father.....I'm having a crisis! I feel like I'm failing as a father! You and mom.....you raised me and Simba so well.......but me........i feel like I'm not even in the same plain as you! You two knew exactly what to do! .........I really miss you two...

(I was thinking they came to him and talked to him)

[Iri]

[Sure...]

Mufasa and Sarabi suddenly came from the clouds.
"Son," Sarabi said. "You must stop this. You must stop blaming yourself for things you have no power over."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Mom? Dad? .......but....you were so much better parents than i am! I've tried.....I really have.....but I haven't even come close to how good you raised us....
