Umeme was rather startled to see Muroki in such a good mood, not that she minded though. "Yeah, we had a great time," she answered her mate, "we found Desta and Kato by the waterhole. The two of them were quite cute together. " She gave Muroki a quick lick as a greeting. "So what has gotten you in such a good mood right now?"

She was very much amused at how Muroki was acting, especially since she had just seen him talking with her father. Whatever they talked about, it must have been at least partially responsible for what brought Muroki's mood up. "What did you talk to dad about, honey?"

Muroki couldn't help but chuckle as Umeme mentioned having come accross Kato and Desta by the oasis. He already knew how cute of a couple the two of them were. It was good to hear that his mate and sister in law enjoyed themselves and that Kato and Desta had gotten over the events of after the trial as well. He most certainly couldn't wait for his shoulder to heal just for the sake of running about again.

Smiling as Umeme licked him, he suddenly remembered his conversation with her father just a minute ago. Surely there was no reason to not tell her about it. "I talked to him about, well, us..." he said as he sat down next to her. "I wanted him to know that I care about you a lot and that I'll support you as much as I can, even if I do have no prior experience... And I told him that it was very important for me to receive his blessing." Still smiling, he gently touched his muzzle against hers, looking into her eyes. "Well... he gave it. He also said that, if we ever need help with anything, we can come to him and your mother."

Umeme really wasn't expecting what Muroki told her, and as soon as she realized just what Muroki told her, she squealed in delight and embraced him in a tight hug. "You did that? I can't believe you did that!" Quickly remembering that Muroki could easily get in pain if someone hugged him like that, she let go, but still remained close to him, smiling at him. "So now that means that you need to get better, and fast!" she teased, "or else you will be in big trouble!"

She looked up in order to thank her father, but he must have already left, because apart from them four, the den was empty.

Muroki definitely did not expect Umeme to react like that to what he had done just a few minutes ago, but luckily she didn't cause his shoulder any discomfort with that short death hug that resembled those of her mother. Once again feeling glad that he was able to make his mate happy like that, he felt his cheeks turn a little red when she teased him by telling him to get better asap. As if he wouldn't if he had control over it. "I'll keep that in mind." he said with a chuckle, nuzzling her. He also noticed that his parents in law had left the den, but they were probably somewhere nearby.

Umeme smiled and returned Muroki's nuzzle. "It's also good to know that I can make you blush too," she whispered into his ear, "can't have things be one sided, can we? Unless of course, they are against you, and not me." Smiling, she pushed him over, making sure not to hurt his shoulder as she did so. Muroki fell over with a playful yelp, and Umeme brought her head down to nuzzle him more. "We'll always be together, right?"

The noise the two were making woke Delano up. Groaning, he lifted his head and opened his eyes slowly, trying to adjust to the light. "What's going on?" he asked sleepily. Then he saw someone next to him and he couldn't help but grin at the sight. "Hey, Lina. Had a good run?" He took her into a hug, also so that he could use her shoulder as a place to rest his head on.

Muroki chuckled. It sounded fair enough. Letting out a playful yelp of surprise upon suddenly being pushed over by his mate, he couldn't stop a purr from rumbling in his throat as she brought her down and nuzzled him again. However, what she then said reminded him of his breathing incident a few days ago... The thought that they'd almost been separated from each other forever was still painful to think about, but that was all behind them now. "Until the very end." he said with a warm smile, nuzzling her back. He really did hope that it was all over now but, should anything happen, he'd protect her no matter the cost.

Lina couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of her sister and brother in law as she slowly made her way over to Delano. After all she wouldn't want to interrupt the two lovebirds. Her smile only grew when she heard Delano groan with annoyance in response to the noise they were making, indicating that he was waking up. "It was great." she said, purring as he pulled her into a hug. "We found Kato and Desta by the waterhole, spent some time with them and then came back." From the looks of it she couldn't have picked a better time to return to the den.

Out of the corner of her eye, Umeme was able to see Lina looking at the two of them, a small grin on her face. "Apparently we're making quite the show here," she whispered, grinning back at her sister, "If I didn't know better, I would have said that we are making Lina and Delano jealous." She ran a paw through Muroki's mane, loving the feeling of how the hairs moved with her paw. "You know, I was also thinking. When you get a little better, how about we all go and visit Hatari? We can look for him where we found him last time."

Delano wasn't really surprised to hear that Desta and Kato were at the waterhole. "You know, we still hadn't been there, since..." he hesitated "...since before the trail. We really need to go there again. Just the two of us, not even with Muroki and Umeme." He continued to rest his head on her shoulder. "Can't wait until I stop feeling like I'm about to pass out all the time," he muttered sleepily, "so tired..." He let out a loud yawn, but didn't want to go back to sleep. Better wait for night time for that.

Muroki chuckled as Umeme turned his attention to Lina, who was looking at them alright. However, after he found out that, a few days ago, he and Umeme had gotten quite comfortable right in front of her parents, nothing could be as embarrassing. He playfully grabbed the paw Umeme ran through his mane, grinning at her as he did. "I'd love that, actually." He still didn't know whether Hatari would be by his waterhole, but there was no other place he could be. "Wait, all of us?" he asked quietly after a short silence. True, Delano had helped Hatari out during the trial, but would he feel comfortable about ever seeing him again? Would he even feel comfortable with Muroki continuing to see him?

Lina smiled as Delano mentioned how they haven't been to the waterhole in quite a while. After all it was their spot, which they'd found by accident when they officially went out for the first time. "I would love that." she said, giving the top of his head a quick lick because it was still resting on her shoulder and chuckling upon hearing him say how tired he still was. "Well you better get over that quickly." she added with a playful chuckle. "Because you're sleeping quite enough in order to make up for that soon."

Umeme knew what Muroki was worried about, but she didn't think it was as big of a deal as Muroki was making it out to be. "Sure," she suggested, "all of us. Look, if Delano won't feel comfortable, he won't need to come. We won't force him you know." She allowed Muroki back up off the ground. "We'll ask him on the day we want to go. If he won't want to, then he won't. Not a big deal." She also knew that Lina would chose to stay with Delano, so even if he won't want to go, he won't be alone.

Delano also chuckled with Lina. "Yeah, I think I've slept more than all of you combined these past few days," he rubbed his head with a paw uncertainly. "Sure felt nice though," he finally said. "But we really need to get to that waterhole soon. I did promise you we would go there... several times actually. I guess I've been at keeping these promises." He grinned back at Lina. "I need to really start making those up."

As he listened to Umeme, Muroki quickly understood that he really was making too big a deal out of this whole thing. After all Delano did take a part in setting Hatari free, so even if he wouldn't want to see him he shouldn't have a problem with his brother going to see him. "You're right, there shouldn't be a problem." he said, sitting back up. Smiling, he wrapped a paw around his mate and pulled her closer, nuzzling her as he did. "How long do you think it'll be until everything will be back to normal?" Umeme was probably just as clueless about that as he was, seeing how so far the only way to tell whether his shoulder was any better was by waiting and seeing, but there was nothing bad with asking.

Lina looked at Delano with a playful smile. "Yes, you do." she said, placing her head under his chin with a purr. "So you better start planning the list out." She continued to lie there silently for a few moments, enjoying the warmth of his fur against hers, before suddenly thinking of something. "Hey, what was it you wanted to tell me earlier today?" she asked, remembering how Delano had said that there was something he wanted to say to her.
