"Hey kid!" Timon said excitedly. He came up and grabbed him by the neck. Giving him a nuggy. "Yeah, just gonna go out and find some food." he said. Timon's stomach emitted a small growl.

Pumba smiled as he walked in. He stood up, and gave a nod. "I was having a dream about food." He said, remembering what he was doing, only moments before Timon woke him.

Kiara got up two hours later. She stretched, caught sight of Kokota talking with Timon and Pumbaa, and smiled to herself. She had never really liked Timon and Pumbaa when she had been his age, but she was glad to see that he had quickly become good friends with them. Just like her father had been before....
Kiara shook her head slowly. Things would never be the same again. Then she noticed Vitani lying apart from the others, cleaning something that she held in her paws. When Kiara looked closer, she saw that it was a baby cub. A BABY! VITANI HAD GIVEN BIRTH!
"Vitani!" Kiara ran up to her, a big smile on her face, "Is that your newborn cub?"

"Haha!" he said as Timon gave him a nuggy. "Well I'd go with ya, but -" he stopped. He heard his mother. He rushed towards the excitement that he had heard. "Hey mom, what's going on?" he asked.

Vitani looked at Kiara."Yes,it's mine.She born this morning."she said,smiling and cleaning her cub."I'll call her Chissa."

Timon looked around as other lions started to gather around the other lioness. What was all the excitement about? "Come on Pumba, lets go and see what all the hub bub is about." He grabbed onto his tusk, and swung up to his head. Timon grabbed his ears as though they were the reins of a horse. "Go."

Pumba was curious as well[. He thought he heard some thing about a cub. Another well then. More and more seemed to be showing up every day. "Okay I think its another cub." he smiled. That meant that they could take him to go eat grubs, and all of the other wonderful things that they did. He marched over there, and looked down. "Aww, isn't he so cute." he grinned. "Hey Timon, we can take him ever where with us."

Vitani looked at Timon and Pumbaa."Well guys,no...I'll take care of her by myself and I don't like you to act like babysitters.So,i don't want her to go with you..."she said,snarrling.

Timon was surprised at her reaction. He leaped into the air, landing right behind Pumba's tuft of hair. He peered through it. His little eyes, looking over the overly protective mother. "Alright, sheesh. Keep your tail on." he said, slightly hurt.

Pumba watched as Vitani snarled at them. He was hurt at her reaction, and could feel all the ruckus that was going on his back. "Its okay Timon." he said turning his back, his tail drooping low. "We can go and have fun with Simba." But as soon as those words were choked out. He started to look more sad than was thought possible. And with that, they ran off.

OCC: Should Chissa have a presentation like Simba and Kiara did, or not since she's technically not the heir to the throne?

Kiara smiled at Vitani. All lionesses were over-protective of their cubs. Vitani hadn't meant to hurt Timon and Pumbaas' feelings. It was best not to get too close and leave her alone.
The lionesses started shoving each other to get a better look at the newborn cub. Kiara could see that Vitani was getting uncomfortable so she said, "Hey, guys, back up. Vitani needs breathing space."
The lionesses backed up immediately with sheepish looks on their faces. Then Kiara asked Vitani, "Do you want me to tell Kovu?"

[ooc]I know- thats why they were more sad after pumbaa said that. He forgot that he was. D:

Timon sulked on the back of Pumbaa. After Simba's death. Nothing was the same. He sluped into a hunched position. Why did that have to happen to Simba. "Pumbaa, hakuna matata will never be the same with out Simba." He said quietly.

Pumba walked slowly. Timon was right. It would never be the same. He sat down, and Timon slid off his back. Today, was going to be another sad day.
