Well Windows 8 is reinstalled, and my laptop is working great. Now I just need to upgrade to Windows 8.1, which I think I will do tomorrow.

My province is going through an election right now, and I can't understand why so many people choose not to vote. People throughout history and even still today fight and die for the right to vote, and we treat it like an annoyance. It saddens me that we take our civil rights/liberties for granted.

Considering the nature of the game... and the way the story-telling happens... I should be able to write a fic that follows the story of the game, putting my own spin on it, with enough original content to make it a "fic" that people won't complain of "it's just the story of the games".... right? I sure hope so. I don't intend to stop at the end of the game, after all, and I do intend to add a lot of information in the breaks... but how long will it take me to get to that point like this?
