Umeme stuck her tongue out at her mate. "Yeah, you did promise that, so you better do that!" It's not like she was going to be strict with Muroki, for she was only looking out for him. But she really didn't want him to get too excited and hurt himself by doing something too soon.

Noticing Desta walk into the den and rush to Kasi, Umeme gave her a nod of greeting before walking to Muroki's side. "Alright, I think it's time to go. Need help getting up, or you got it?"

While Delano was quite glad that Kasi shoot his paw, he was still a little glad when Desta showed up and took the prince aside. He then nuzzled Lina quickly before struggling up to his feet. While it didn't exactly hurt to do so, moving sore muscles around was not the most pleasant of things either. "Alright, Lina. Shall we?"

Kasi / Kato?

Muroki obviously chuckled at Umeme's reaction, which was, in a way, just another form of her being embarrassed. "Yes ma'am." It always amused him a great deal whenever they had a fake arguement. "It's alright, I've got it for the time being." He knew more than well, as did his mate, that he was going to have to rely on her support at some point along the way. However, he wanted to see how far he could go while also letting Umeme make a smaller effort for him. Slowly standing up, without pain but with effort, the two of them headed outside.

Lina bid Desta and Kato a good day when the young lioness arrived and literally stole him away by affectionately nuzzling him and whispering something in his ear. Whatever it was she said to the prince, it definitely got him excited. "I'm ready." Lina said with a smile, briefly nuzzling her mate. Seeing him like this after the rough time he's been through was delightful. "You'll let me know once you get tired, right?" she asked as they made their way outside as well, wanting to make sure he wouldn't take his limited mobility to its limits.

Making sure that Muroki was walking fine, Umeme followed him closely outside, soon joined by Lina and Delano. Just as she was sticking to Muroki's side, Lina stayed close to Delano. Both brothers showed clear strain in just walking, but neither betrayed any pain, so Umeme got close to Lina so that they could talk. "Are you going to stay with Delano for today?" she asked, "because we don't need to hunt, but I think it will be nice to run around a bit after we get home."

She grinned at the two lions next to them before returning her attention to her sister. "Something makes me think that just getting home will be the 'running around' for them. If they won't want to go to sleep when we get there, I will start getting worried." She was mostly joking, but she knew that at least for Muroki, this walk would take a lot of effort. She really didn't think that he would want to do anything but rest as soon as they get back, and Lina already told her how Delano wants to sleep all the time...

Walking obviously required quite a big effort from Muroki, what with the injury he was recovering from being located directly on his shoulder which constantly moved with every step he took. Nevertheless, he didn't mind making the effort. That way he would be able to see that he's getting better the longer it would take for him to become too tired to continue on his own. Noticing Umeme engage Lina in a conversation, he looked at his brother with a smile. "So... slept well?" he asked, chuckling. He would have asked Delano whether he had any plans for the day, but he figured the answer would be 'to sleep more'.

Lina smiled a her sister, allowing Moruki to speak with Delano while she and Umeme talked seperately. "I wouldn't mind running around a bit, seeing how from the looks of it Delano will go back to sleep when we get home." Having spent the majority of the previous days by his side, it would be nice to change things up a bit. Also, it's not like he needed to be constantly watched anymore.

Delano was lost in his thoughts, and was rather startled when Muroki spoke to him. "What? Oh, yeah, yes I did." In many ways, he was now very grateful to be able to sleep properly again. While he would still have the occasional nightmare, they were not frequent anymore, and he usually was able to largely sleep through them. But even better was that they were getting rarer and rarer. Having missed so much rest before now, Lina always found it funny how Delano's solution to everything suddenly became "sleep more", but then again, she wasn't the one who didn't get any rest for several days...

Snapping out of his thoughts again, Delano glanced at Muroki's shoulder. It was healing slowly but steadily, however he could still see that it wasn't exactly easy for his brother to walk. "So how are you feeling? That shoulder not bothering you?"

Umeme chuckled at Lina's joke about Delano looking like he would sleep again as soon as he can. "Alright, you can join me after we get home. Perhaps we can pay Kato a visit." Grinning, she moved her head closer to Lina's. "I do wonder what he does with Desta all day long."

Muroki smiled at his brother's answer. Even though he could tell that Delano had slept well, it was still nice to hear Delano say it himself and to know that he was feeling good about being able to sleep normally again. "It kind of is." he admitted, knowing more than well that Delano, Lina and Umeme were all walking at a pace that would allow him to keep up. "But I carefully test the limits every day to see how's it coming along." While there wasn't that big of a difference with every passing day, he still felt satisfied with noticing any sort of improvement.

Lina nodded at her sister's suggestion. It's been a while since the two of them had spent some time together, what with both of them having worried about their mates during the course of the past few days. "That sounds nice." she said, unable to stop herself from giggling when Umeme mentioned Kato and Desta. In her opinion they were the most adorable couple in existence. "Probably what you and Muroki do all day long." she said with a shrug, unable to not take the opportunity to tease her sister a little. She would have used Delano and herself as an example but they haven't really spent time together yet like they'd used to before his nightmares returned.

While Delano was glad to hear that Muroki was feeling better, he wasn't as excited to hear that his brother wanted to test the limits of his healing either. "I think you shouldn't do that," he blurted out, perhaps a little bit too quickly. "What if you hurt yourself?" While things were improving, he really did not want to see Muroki hurt again. Especially because he found out that while he was out, Muroki had even stopped breathing...

Umeme blushed at Lina's teasing, but in many ways, she had to admit that her sister was most likely correct. "Yeah, probably," she eventually admitted, "but you can never know until you actually go and find out, can you?" She winked at Lina. "Besides, how have you and Delano gotten along? I don't recall the two of you behaving much like Muroki and I, so who said that Kato and Desta will too?"

When thinking back about it, perhaps the term 'to test the limits' wasn't the best choice of words. "I simply walk on my own to see how long it'll take me to tire out." he explained. "Nothing more." If Umeme had any reason to believe he was taking risks she would have told him to knock it off already. But he knew that there was no real risk in what he was doing, even if he did lose his balance and fall over or something else of the sort. "It's not like I'm running around and climbing trees." he added with a chuckle.

Lina chuckled, catching onto her sister's drift. "I suppose..." she said with an innocent shrug, recalling how cute Kato was when he was embarrassed around Desta. "Delano and I haven't really spent some time together the way we used to yet." Lina wanted to let him catch up on all the sleep he's missed, but she was obviously looking forward to that. Hopefully sometime soon they'd find an opportunity. "But I'm hoping we will soon..." she concluded, not feeling ashamed to admit it.

With Muroki explaining exactly what he meant by "testing his limits", Delano was able to calm down. "Well, all right. If you insist on doing that, I think it'll be okay." He still wasn't entirely comfortable with the idea with his brother walking to his tire point, but there wasn't much Delano could do about that. Besides, Muroki was plenty old enough to watch out for himself.

Umeme grinned knowingly at Lina. "At this point, you and Delano might get there before Muroki and I do." She winked at her sister, who looked away in order to blush without getting too embarrassed by it. "Muroki told me something that Delano told him," Umeme continued, "Delano is also missing being with you like the two of you have before this whole mess happened." She shrugged. "So the way I see it, it's only a matter who heals up first. Muroki or Delano. Although I personally would like it to be Muroki. No offence."

Muroki smiled, obviously appreciating Delano's concern. "Trust me, I won't be doing anything dumb." he said. "Umeme made a few rules about what I can and cannot do." There would probably be no activity for him for a fee days even after he recovered. But he wouldn't blame Umeme just cor looking out for him. And he didn't want to worry her, so why argue?

Lina chuckled at her sister's last comment, the joke making her forget the teasing that came before it. "Non taken." she said with a shrug, unable to not tease her sister back. "I bet you're quite looking forward to it." Not making any further comment, Lina looked at her mate and brother in law. The two appeared to be managing fine, although at some point Muroki began to slow down a little before looking at Umeme, who then walked over to his side in order to assist him in walking. Lina had to resist the urge to playfully roll her eyes when Muroki licked Umeme's cheek in appreciation.
