Kuanguka sighed with relief and bounded over to him.
A few days later...

[Adofo]

Adofo was laying with Kuanguka. Just scratching her chest and belly.
Adofo: Was that zebra good?

[Iri]

Kuanguka smiled and rolled over. "Yeah." She stretched.
Sky, now a full-grown adult, walked over. "Hello," she said.
"H-hi," Kuanguka said. She seemed to have a fear of adult lionesses.
"I'm your half-sister, you know. Crystal is my mother," Sky said.

[Adofo]

Adofo: That's true! About half of my cubs are YOUR half siblings! And Sky, I don't believe you've given me any hugs or kisses the past few days!
Adofo held out his arms for his daughter.

[Iri]

Sky shrugged and nuzzled him. She licked his chin. "Love you, Dad," she said. She bounded off.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Love you too baby!

[Iri]

"I'm... her half-sister? Why's her pelt bluish grey?" Kuanguka asked.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Yes! And....we're not entirely sure. But she's a sweet girl! Like you! Maybe you should try being friends with your big sis!

[Iri]

"Can you tell me about her?" Kuanguka said. "Like... from her cubhood and stuff?"

[Adofo]

Adofo: She was really shy. She actually tried to run away, but I managed to get here to come back. She felt like an outsider but after a long talk, I convinced her that it's not true. Now the pride loves her! You see, family is the most important thing to me! More important than my life! Ever since I can remember I've just....I don't know.....have had a feeling off needing to give back to the pride for taking me in.
