"To m-me, it is." Kuanguka curled up, covering her muzzle with her paws.

[Should Crystal and her mate come to try to get her back? And when they don't they beat her?]

Adofo: .....well.....if you ever want to talk. I'll always have an ear open for you.
That afternoon.

[Iri]

[And they DON'T let Adofo take the beatings.]

Crystal and her mate came to Pride Rock. "Where is our little Kuanguka?" Crystal called. Kuanguka walked down Pride Rock shakily.
"Hello, dear. Would you like to come home with us?" Crystal said.
Kuanguka shook her head. "N-n-no th-thank you."
Crystal growled. Her mate lunged at Kuanguka and clawed her neck and her flanks.
Kuanguka shrieked.

[Adofo]

Adofo: HEY! STOP IT! Crystal what happened to you!? You used to be so sweet, but now you're just bitter! How could you beat your own daughter!?

[Iri]

Kuanguka coughed. "No... I deserve to be hit."

[Adofo]

Adofo: NO! You don't! AND YOU! How can a father just beat his daughter like that! I wouldn't even dream of hurting my cubs!

[Iri]

"I ran away from home. It's my punishment," Kuanguka said hoarsely.
Her father held his claws at Kuanguka's throat. "If anyone tries to protect her, she dies immediately."

[Adofo]

Adofo: HOW DARE YOU CALL YOURSELF A FATHER! You make me sick! Crystal, why do you hate her so much!? What did she ever do to you?!

(I'm just getting a thought, that maybe she's really Adofo's cub and that's why they treat her like dirt. That's just what's going on in my head)

[Iri]

[*Shrug* Well, they wouldn't know if she was. Because she looks like a lion.]

Crystal growled. "She's not worthy to be heir."
"I swear, human, if you say another thing these claws go in her throat right now," Kuanguka's father snarled. "And if you try to protect her I will kill her instantly. Slowly. And. Painfully."
Kuanguka whimpered. "P-please, Father-"
"SHUT UP!" her father roared, digging his claws deeper into her neck, not enough to kill, but enough for it to hurt.

[Adofo]

Adofo didn't say a word. He tried his best to look tough but a few tears managed to slip through at the site of this innocent little girl nearly being killed by her own parents.
