"I can't. What if she grows up with taunts and teases filling her ears just because she hasn't got parents?" Dimbwi said.
"Please. She'll die. I'd rather her grow up with only a small risk of teases than her dying... please," Kukemea begged.
After a few long, silent minutes, Dimbwi sighed. "Fine. I will take her."
Little did either know that poor Zawadi would grow up with taunts and teases...
