This is Askari, my liger Flamefeather. Her name means warrior in Swahili.
She has heightened thinking skills which makes her a valued lieutenant and brilliant for forming plans for the future of the Pride.
However, she is tiny. She is around a size in between a cub and a teenager which means she can sometimes have trouble with walking large distances, walking through long grass and climbing or jumping over large distances.

I'm sorry I haven't drawn her practising her gift, but I just wanted you to see her design.

The Flamefeather species belongs to Iri.
Askari belongs to me.

Note: Iri - if you want me to change anything then I will!

Askari was a little shy at first. "Pleased to meet you too!"
However, as she settled in with her new family her fear flooded away, leaving a new, overwhelming emotion of caring for a family (as in the flamefeather species!)

"I'm glad you're our lieutenant," Igneus said. "You may be small, but I believe you'd be able to send messages quickly and without others noticing." She smiled and flicked Askari's nose with her tail as a gesture of friendliness.
