"It's okay. She's strong." Chiku licked Adofo's chin and walked away.
Kilio laid down with a cough and curled up into a tight ball.

[Adofo]

Adofo went into the cave and took off his hoodie. He draped it over her to sleep with.
Simba: We're all here for you.
Adofo: Thanks Simba. You're.....you're a good brother.

[Iri]

Kilio opened her eyes and looked up at her father. "I'm sorry I failed you as a daughter," she said quietly.

[Adofo]

Adofo: What!? No baby! You could NEVER fail me as a daughter! Since your mother carried you in her tummy I've loved you with all my heart! And every day since! I......I failed you as a parent. I just wish i could take all your pain away. I don't care what you can or can't do. All i care is that you're alive and heathy.........but i failed.

[Iri]

"It's not you who failed," Kilio whispered. "I'm..." She gasped for air and coughed.

[Adofo]

Adofo: No you're not! And just relax. You need your strength.

[Iri]

Kilio coughed and curled up tighter.
"Let her rest," Arida said. She gently shooed the others out of the cave. Ua walked out and sat down next to Adofo. Her skinny legs shook as small tears formed at her eyes. She pressed her head against his shoulder.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Ua.......I'm a terrible father. You now Kilio.......you and her got hurt.......now.....she's dying. I'm a horrible father.

[Iri]

Ua shook her head. Adena walked over to him. "Don't say that," she begged. "To me, you're everything! You're not a horrible father at all!"

[Adofo]
