Edit: Also, if I wrote my posts fully the way I talk, there wouldn't be anybody who'd think I'm cool or smart or intimidatin'. Maybe that's why it always seems weird to me that people seem to get those impressions of me.

The same is true for most, I think. The way smart people talk is very different in ink. Writing verbally is a sign of a fool. Only those with brains can be articulate and keep cool. Few sound intelligent when they're talking; it's more even ground. Without time to think, proof of intelligence cannot be found. Nearly everyone sounds like a retard, when put on the spot. Transform the medium onto paper, and the fools will complain, "writing is too hard," but the others will not.
