Ua breathed softly and laid her head on his chest. Just hearing his heartbeat made her wounds feel better. "What... if.. she comes... back?" she choked hoarsely.

[Adofo]

Adofo: She won't come close to you! .....I swear!
Yekize walked into the den.
Adofo: Hey honey! Listen......sorry about thinking you were pregnant. Maybe........I just felt like being a father so bad that......I actually believed it. I just.....love the feeling of being a new father again. There's nothing I loved more than watching your tummy get bigger and bigger everyday then finally.....watch a piece a of me come into the world.

[Iri]

Yekize smiled. "It's all right." She nuzzled him and looked at Ua. "Are you okay, dear?"
Ua nodded, her eyes narrowed. Adena walked in after Yekize and sat down next to Ua. "You know, Ua... what happened to you happened to me a long time ago, when I was an adolescent like you are now. Remember, Adofo?"

[Adofo]

Adofo: Yeah......I do.
Adofo scratched behind Ua's ear.

[Iri]

Ua coughed and sighed. Her blind eyes looked even paler than usual. Her fur seemed hot, like she had a fever.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Adena, can you get your sister some water? Please?

[Iri]

Adena nodded and brought back a leaf soaked in cold water. Ua gratefully lapped it up. "Thanks," she whispered.
"No problem," Adena replied, nuzzling Ua. She left the cave, leaving Ua, Adofo, and Yekize.

[Adofo]

Adofo carefully slid Ua off him when she fell asleep.
Adofo: Come on honey. I want to talk. About a few things.

[Iri]

Yekize nodded and walked outside of the cave. "What is it, Adofo?"

[Adofo]

Adofo: I want to make it perfectly clear to you....since Crystal came by.......I love YOU! And only YOU! I still love her.....but that's just because she was my wife that....I still had feelings for her......but now that she's gone, my mind is clear, I love you! And again.....I want to apologize.....about the pregnant thing. I guess......I was so scared my heart was about to be broken again that.....my mind just made up stuff that I believed. Like I got you pregnant. But honestly.......I was looking forward to being a dad again I mean.....with your big tummy.......you look so beautiful. There's nothing more beautiful than a mother about to bring a new life to the world. Also.......I thought it'd be fun to go rub your big belly in Crystal's face! I know she's still jealous and seeing you with a tummy full of my cubs would drive her insane. But.....I guess that'll just be a dream.
