You can't let a lioness fight her own battles. Next time, do not interfere." She curled her lip and trotted away, hardly bleeding.

Adofo shot an arrow through her back left leg.

Adofo felt her stomach. It gotten bigger.

Yekize shook her head. "No! I'm not disloyal to you." She seemed angry that he would think she would keep a secret from him. Her belly hadn't even gotten bigger by anything. She walked away, hurt.
