"Why else would we have come here? We thought for a long time... and we felt that you were right," the lioness said.

[After this, should we timeskip to where it's close to when Adena has her cubs?]

[Adofo]

(I was think to where she's far into her pregnancy and he comes to visit.)

Adofo just held out his arms for his three cubs.

[Iri]

[Mfalme? Mkay. c:]

The three cubs embraced him.
A month later, Adena was quieter but unlike most expectant lionesses, she ate nearly nothing. It was nearly impossible to tell she was expecting cubs because she was so thin. She ate an occasional field mouse but never ate anything else.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Baby....please! Please eat! You're going to kill the cubs! They can actually starve while they're inside you! You have to eat!

[Iri]

Adena quietly started to chew a zebra's haunch. Her gaze was lowered. Her ears flicked but she didn't reply.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Look....baby I'm sorry. But if you want them to live.....you have to eat! And.....if you don't put on a good amount of weight before it's time........I don't want to worry you but........there's a high chance they'll die.

(And before you ask, that's a real thing. That's how you get one of those scrawny little twig like sickly babies.)

[Iri]

[I know, I know. c;]

Adena nodded and continued to gnaw on the zebra meat. After a while she laid down in front of the den.

[Adofo]

Adofo went to talk with his three cubs.
Adofo: Kids.....would you......maybe like to spend some time with your old man? I mean....you haven't even left the cave since you got here.

[Iri]

The lioness, her name revealed to be Tabasamu, shrugged. "I... don't know. I think you should spend time with Adena... she seems really depressed. What's wrong with her? Is she ill?"

[The three never really were told what had happened to her.]

[Adofo]

Adofo: No she's..........it's complicated. Beside.......I've been spending a lot of time with her lately. I think she could actually like for me not to be around for five minutes.
