Samaki looked straight at the lioness. "Look, you're much older than I am," she said softly. "But I'm your kin. How am I your kin? Adofo is my father. And he is your father. Don't say no to kinship."
The lioness rolled her eyes. "You soppy excuse for a lioness," she muttered. She and her brothers turned away.

[Adofo]

Adofo: HEY! Don't treat your sister like that!

[Iri]

"She's not my sister, I can treat her like I want to," the lioness snapped. "Why are you stalking us anyway?!"

[Adofo]

Adofo: Please.....can't you just give me a chance? Why would I go through all of this!?

[Iri]

"How are we supposed to 'give you a chance?' By what, coming to your pride?!" the lioness snarled.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Just.....let me tell some things about myself. Maybe.....you'll relate to them.

[Iri]

"I don't want to hear it," the lioness growled. "Leave us alone! I'm serious about this!"
The lioness and her brothers walked away.
Samaki rested her tail-tip on Adofo's shoulder. "Father, they won't listen," she said softly. "Nothing you do will make them listen."

[Adofo]

Adofo: But.....their my cubs.....how can I just let them go?

[Iri]

"They won't believe you," Samaki said quietly. "I'm sorry. Perhaps it was a mistake to come here."

[Adofo]

Adofo: So....should we just leave?
