Aaquila lowered her gaze. "All right," she said. "I... I just don't know about you adopting me... and my sisters are still in the mountains... I just don't know if... if I can trust you."

[Adofo]

Adofo: i understand. But you and your sisters can stay as long as you want.

[Iri]

"But they're... not here. They're still in the mountains." Aaquila's ears flattened. "I... I actually think I'd be better going back to the mountains. Goodbye, Neema."

"How is that possible? You don't know where they are," Aaquila said.

"I'm going with you. You don't know how terrified they'd be of a stranger going to them and saying, 'Hello, I'm here to take you to my home!' They'd be petrified! I have to come," Aaquila said.
