Adofo: Neema......does that mean.....you accepted my offer?

[Iri]

"I... yes," Neema said. "I... I want you to be my adoptive father.... if that's all right."

[Just a note, Neema is an adolescent. She's about Hondo's age.]

[Adofo]

Adofo: Of course it is! But.....what about your sisters.......unless.......they'd be willing to have a new father too.

[Iri]

Aaquila looked outraged. "Neema! How could you do that? You've left your sisters! Rehani, Saskia, and Liwaza have been sobbing for you for the past four days!"

[Adofo]

Adofo: hey......i don't want any trouble. Neema are you sure you want this?

[Iri]

Neema nodded. "I... I need a family. I have none otherwise."
"Yes, you do!" Aaquila snarled. "You have us!"

[Adofo]

Adofo: Okay....can i ask you something? Are you and your sister's....abandoned too?

[Iri]

"Yes. What's it to you?" Aaquila asked. Her voice was tough but had a slight quiver to it.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Your parents just dumped all of you.....didn't they? Would.....would you like to have a new family? One that won't abandon you?

[Iri]

"No, they didn't dump us." Aaquila's tail flicked. "They... were killed."
