Adofo: Well that's what it sounds like!? Do you think I want you to be blind!? For you to do NOTHING for the rest of your life!? For you to be miserable everyday because you don't even know what's right in front of your face!? Because I don't!
Adofo gets up and storms out. Later that night, Adofo is sitting outside the cave and he wakes up Yekize with his sobbing.

[Iri]

Yekize walked over to him. "What's wrong, Adofo?"

[Adofo]

Adofo: What do you thin? Our daughter is BLIND! .....what can she do if she spends the rest of her life without her vision! She can't hunt! She can't run! She can't even walk around without the threat of her walking right off the ledge of Priderock! ..........her life will never be the same!

[Iri]

Yekize backed away. "Well, I'm not a mind-reader," she snapped. She turned and walked away.
Sky rested her paw on Adofo's shoulder. "Is there anything I can do to help, Father?"

[Adofo]

Adofo: No...not this time honey.......I just feel so useless right now! I can't do anything to help......the only thing that can help her is probably that surgery.....but she won't do it. Sky....can you please just.....stay out here and comfort daddy?

[Iri]

Sky nodded. "Consider it done." She laid down beside him. "I can't sleep either. I woke up to yet another nightmare about drowning earlier. I don't know how I'll ever get these dreams to go away."

[Adofo]

Adofo: I'm sorry honey. I wish I could make them go away. I just feel so bad that I can't do anything to help with you kids.

(No he's not going back to his old ways, he's just a sad parent.)

[Iri]

[Yerp.]

"It's not your fault," Sky assured him. "Well... maybe I can persuade Adena to get it. You know I'm very persuasive."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Thank you Sky.....even when you're dealing with your own problems, you still want to help others! Just like your father! I'm really proud of you!

[Iri]

"Thank you," Sky said shyly. She cuddled close to Adofo.
