Adofo: Yes......Kopa.....when me and your mother were married......before we knew your father was alive........she DID get pregnant! We had tried to have cubs but....it never happened! Then one day......she was! I was so happy! It was going to be a boy!....my first son! Months went by and I was so excited......but a few days before he was to come. Apparently she had a miscarriage. He died.....only days before he was to come into the world. But Nala.......she couldn't tell me. I don't blame her........but it hurt all the same. She lied.....and I lost my first born! I was devistated! .......I can't lose another Kopa! ......I don't have it in me!

[Iri]

"Nala did it to protect you from grief," Kopa growled.

[Adofo]

Adofo: I know......but I couldn't keep it from hurting!
Adofo wrapped his arm around his nephew and cried into his shoulder.
Adofo: My little boy..........I never even got to see his eyes open for the first time.......that's something I always wanted.....to have my first born.....open his eyes.........and I'd be the first thing he sees.........it broke my heart!

[Iri]

"You're blaming yourself again," Kopa growled. He tugged himself free of Adofo's grasp and walked towards Pride Rock.

[Adofo]

Adofo: It wasn't my fault! It wasn't! It just.......it wasn't meant to be..........after that happened.........when me and your mother found your father........I knew the reason why. So THEY could be together. And when I realized that......I was happy for them! Kopa.....don't be like all those in my past that wanted me dead.......please don't leave me here! I need my nephew.

[Iri]

Kopa shook his head. "I never wanted you dead. Please... stop mentioning the fact that animals wanted you dead. It... I hate remembering it! And you bring it up all the time!" Tears started to stream from his eyes.

[Adofo]

Adofo: I'm sorry Kopa.
Adofo ran to his nephew and held him tighter than he ever had before.
Adofo: I'm sick! I'm sick and I need help! I don't want to be like this anymore! Kopa...please help me! Please!

(Btw, he never said HE(Kopa) Hated him. He said not to be like them by turning his back on him when he needed help.)

[... Is he saying he's insane...?]

"Stop... squeezing me," Kopa gasped.
Sky rushed out of the bushes. She looked at Adofo, her intense stare burning into his.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Sorry.......I just need help. Sky..........what is it?

(No. He's mentally......how do i say this.......damaged. Like I am.)
