Adofo: will she be alright?

[Iri]

"Of course she will," Arida retorted. "She's tough."
Ithayiga helped carry Adena back to Pride Rock.
After a few hours, Adena woke up, coughing.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Adena.....you okay?

[Iri]

Adena rolled over without a word. She curled up, clutching her head in her paws.

[Adofo]

Adofo curled up around her and gently stroked her back.
Adofo: honey i'm sorry about this! I should have had you start smaller.

[Iri]

Adena groaned. Arida could tell she wasn't angry or upset... she was in pain.
Adena clutched her head tighter with her paws and curled into a tighter ball, ignoring the concerned murmurs around her.

[Adofo]

Adofo gently kissed her head.
Adofo: I know it hurts.......but i've been working on a technique that may help.

[Iri]

Adena didn't reply still. Her breathing was deep and fast; too fast for Arida's liking. "Adofo, could you leave the den? I need to check her for any severe injuries," she said gently. "It'll only take a few minutes, I promise."

[Adofo]

Adofo stepped outside.

[Iri]

After about four or five anxious minutes, Arida stepped outside. "I think she's just suffering from a head injury," she said. "I don't think it is a concussion. But I'd like her to be left alone for a while. No visitors."
