Adofo: I don't know why you did it.....maybe it was because you felt safest with me. But in any case, I never complained! Every morning I was always happy to see you sleeping with me and I'd give you a little kiss behind your right ear! It did hurt a little when you stopped doing that.....but I guess that's what happens when you grow up.

[Iri]

Adena shrugged. "Maybe I was too big to do that anymore."

[She doesn't mean big as in too old to do it, but too big in size.]

[Adofo]

Adofo: Yeah....maybe! And hey.....I know I've tried this before with the other girls when they got older and I've finally come to realize something..........I have to let you grow up! Someday you'll find a mate and have cubs and.....I'll just have to accept that! But listen......I had to finally force this into them because I was too late to say it but......when you get older, no matter how old you get, even when I've been dead for years and you're on your own death bed, NO MATTER WHAT.......you'll always be my little girl! That's something that can never be changed! It's my job as your father to take care of you, and help you.......and love you for the rest of your life! No matter how old you get! So when you get older......don't think of getting my help as me still looking at you as a cub..........look at it as a very loving father doing something to help out his baby girl! Remember that.....okay?

Adena nodded. "All right." She nuzzled Adofo affectionately.

Adofo: So.....tell me about yourself! What's going on in my girls head! And don't be shy! I'm you father, you can tell me anything!

[Iri]

Adena shrugged. "To be honest, nothing new is really going on," she admitted.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Well I mean, just tell me about yourself! YOu know....you're the only one of my cubs I know NOTHING about! I don't even know what your favorite color is! So just....tell me anything about yourself!

Adena tilted her head. "You don't know anything about me?"

[Adofo]

Adofo: No.........I feel so.....disconnected form you! You've......never really told me anything about you. I feel like......maybe you've been trying to keep me out.

Adena shook her head. "I've never tried to keep you out," she said. "I've just... never been that social."
