Over the next few weeks, Adofo did everything for his new mate and he brought her tons and tons of food. Each day her tummy grew more and more. So far no sign of the other rouges and the Arida and Monifa have started to settle back down into their old life in priderock.
Adofo: How was that zebra honey?

[Iri]

Yekize purred. "It was good. Thanks! But you know, you don't have to bring so much food."

[Adofo]

Adofo: I know. But you have to keep the cubs fed! After all you're carrying a big litter! How many do you think are inside? I can feel about 4 but sometimes i can feel like 6 or 7. You must know by now!

[Iri]

Yekize shrugged. "I'm guessing just a few, maybe three or four."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Well 3, 4, 59! I don't care how many! As long as I have you and them, my life is complete!

[Iri]

Chiku scowled a bit. "And the new cubs will be the center of attention... like always."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Awww.....Chiku come here!
Adofo extended his arm out for his step daughter.
Adofo: Please!

[Iri]

Chiku sighed. "Newborn cubs are always the center of attention. The older cubs never get any acknowledgement."

[Adofo]

Adofo got up and set her in his lap.
Adofo: Chiku....yes they will get a lot of attention, but me and your mother will still give you, Iri and Ua as much attention as you three want! Okay!? If you ever feel like we're ignoring you, just tell us! Okay sweetie!? ......I love you!

[Iri]

Chiku sighed and narrowed her eyes. "Uh... all right then." She walked away.
