[Adofo]

Adofo punched her right in the face with his claw gloves tearing into her skin.

[Iri]

Mstari roared with pain and shook her head quickly. She lashed out with her back paws and kicked Adofo's chest, then sprang backwards to dodge any other blows.

[Adofo]

One of the others was pushing against an old tree and it fell on top off Adofo. He was out cold.
Mstari: Good work! Now what to do with him.
She licked his arm and she liked the taste.
Mstari: I know! He can be our special meal!

[Iri]

Arida shook her head. "No!"
"What do you mean, 'no'?" Mstari snarled. "By chance are you loyal to this human?"
"No. But instead of that, he can be another prisoner!"
Mstari nodded, smiling. "I like that idea. Good thinking, Arida," she said. "Keyah and Dhakiya, take the human to the prisoner's cave. Make sure that he doesn't crush the cubs."
A couple hours later...

[Adofo]

Adofo's hands and feet are tied together so he can't escape.
Adofo: Arida.......how could you let them do this!? I'm your grandfather! Don't you love me!?

[Iri]

Arida glared at Adofo. "I made sure they didn't kill you," she hissed.
Angrily she stalked away to talk with some of the rogues.
Iri was sound asleep, her wounds hardly healing at all. Without opening her eyes she whimpered and cuddled close to Adofo.

[Adofo]

Adofo: So.......what happened to all of your parents?

[Iri]

Chiku stirred beside him. "What?" she asked drowsily. "What do you mean?" Iri still slept.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Your parents. I'm just curious. They should be here getting you back! Protecting you!

[Iri]

Chiku shrugged. "My father was a part of a pride that lived so far away from here. And Yekize does care for us, she just doesn't-"
Her words were cut off as she looked out of a tiny gap in the cave. She saw Etana, Keyah, Safari, and Dhakiya forcing three lions into the base. "It's Yekize! And Zahra and Sanaa! The Pride's three Osains..."
